1. Shipping Policy

Order Processing

All orders placed on everythingtech.co.za are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays), unless otherwise stated on the product page.  Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. Once dispatched, customers will receive shipment confirmation and tracking details (where applicable).


Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times within South Africa:

  • Major cities: 1–4 business days
  • Outlying/regional areas: 3–7 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on courier operations and location. EverythingTech is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer
  • Customer unavailability at delivery address
  • Courier operational delays
  • Events beyond our reasonable control (weather disruptions, strikes, etc.)

Customers are responsible for ensuring their delivery information is accurate at checkout.


2. Consumer Protection Act (CPA) – Your Rights

In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA):

Cooling-Off Right (Section 44 – Electronic Transactions)

Customers may cancel an online order within 7 days of receiving the goods, without providing a reason.

If the cooling-off right is exercised:

  • The item must be returned in original condition
  • Customers are responsible for return courier costs
  • A full refund of the purchase price (excluding delivery costs) will be processed within 7–14 business days after the item is received and inspected

Implied Warranty of Quality (Section 56 – CPA)

All goods sold by EverythingTech carry a 6-month implied warranty against defects.

If a product fails to meet reasonable quality standards within 6 months of delivery, customers may request:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Refund

This applies only to defects not caused by misuse, negligence, power surges, liquid damage, unauthorized repairs, or accidental damage.

EverythingTech reserves the right to assess the product before approving repair, replacement, or refund.


3. Standard Return Policy

In addition to CPA protections, we accept returns within 7 days of delivery for eligible cases. To request a return, email: info@everythingtech.co.za


Eligible Return Reasons

Returns will be accepted if:

  • The product is defective
  • The product was damaged during delivery
  • The incorrect product was supplied
  • The item has a verified manufacturer fault
  • The product is missing essential components

Non-Returnable Items

The following may not be eligible for return unless defective:

  • Software, digital products, or downloadable items
  • Opened consumables
  • Items damaged due to misuse
  • Products altered or repaired by unauthorized parties

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be in original condition
  • Original packaging must be included
  • All accessories and components must be returned
  • Proof of purchase must be provided

Failure to meet these conditions may result in partial refund or return rejection, in line with CPA guidelines.


4. Refund Policy

Once the returned product is received and inspected, customers will receive written confirmation of approval or rejection. If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within ( 5–10  )business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Banks may take additional time to reflect funds
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable unless:
  • The wrong item was supplied
  • The product was defective
  • The item arrived damaged

5. Exchanges

We replace products if they are:

  • Defective
  • Damaged during shipping
  • Incorrectly supplied

Exchanges are subject to product availability.


6. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return courier costs unless:

  • The product is defective under CPA
  • The incorrect item was sent
  • The product was damaged before delivery

We recommend using a trackable courier service. EverythingTech cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels lost in transit.


7. Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please email info@everythingtech.co.za with: 

  • Order number
  • Clear photos of the product
  • Photos of outer packaging
  • Description of the issue

Failure to report within this period may affect eligibility.


8. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. If the order has already been dispatched, cancellation will be treated as a return under the CPA cooling-off provision.
