The Xiaomi AC1200 WiFi Range Extender is a great way to extend the range of your wireless network. It operates over both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands at a combined speed of up to 1200Mbps, which effectively eliminates WiFi dead zones. The Fast Ethernet port allows you to connect a wired device like a TV, game console, or streaming player to the network, ensuring a more reliable connection. It also features an access point mode which allows you to simply connect the extender with your router via an Ethernet cable and create a dual-band WiFi access point.
A standby connection to the router can be configured to improve network reliability. If the original connection (2.4GHz or 5GHz) between the extender and the router fails, the range extender will automatically create a connection via another band. The Smart Signal Indicator easily helps you to choose a suitable place to install the extender. It also lets you know the running status of the extender.
